Dragon boat racing is an exciting team sport that brings people together through teamwork, rhythm, and friendly competition. Teams of paddlers race in traditional dragon boats guided by a drummer and steersperson.
No experience is required. Many teams participate for team building, community involvement, or simply for the fun of racing.

Hosted by the 501c3 non-profit, Peach State Dragon Boat Academy, this small-boat fundraiser festival features fast-paced 200m races on the scenic waters of Lake Peachtree.
Teams will test their endurance and teamwork as they paddle for victory, navigating a high-energy course with a breathtaking lakeside backdrop. The festival isn’t just about racing—attendees will enjoy live entertainment, delicious food trucks, artisan vendors, and special events throughout the day.
One of the festival’s most meaningful moments will be the Cancer Flower Ceremony, honoring survivors and loved ones affected by cancer. Plus, the competition heats up with our Corporate Challenge, trophies for Fastest Times of the Day, and our exciting Knock-Out Race, where the winning team will earn free registration for the 2027 event!
Whether you’re paddling for fun, racing for glory, or cheering from the shore, this event promises an unforgettable experience.
